Salida Council for the Arts Announces Opportunities for the William Boddy “Passion to Learn” Scholarship

The SCFTA is announcing its 2nd cycle application process for the 2017 William Boddy “Passion to Learn” Scholarship. Applicants may apply online at salidacouncilforthearts.org/passion-to-learn. Applications must be received by August 25th and selection of applicants will be announced at the Salida SteamPlant Boddy Jam on September 7th. To date 3 scholarships have been given to local artists in our first scholarship year.

The scholarship is designed to fund individuals who want to share their artistic, musical and/or creative skills and knowledge by teaching community members in classes and workshops. The classes will then be oered free to the public.
