My little treasures are the size of coasters for your drink. Once framed (all come with a frame) size = 8″x8″ and is covered with beads. I sew the beads onto hospital sheeting first. Next is the design, usually off-the-cuff.
I won best in show at a western themed event at Fuller Lodge in New Mexico. It was encaustic titled “Happy Trails.” I am a member of the Museum of Encaustic Art near Madrid, NM, and the Salida Council for the Arts.
