I was very fortunate to have parents who were willing and able to take my sister and I on family vacations to places like Yellowstone, Yosemite, Lake Michigan and even a rustic dude ranch in Big Timber, Montana.
My dad, who we fondly referred to as Pops, documented it all with a 35mm in hand and one or two times per year he’d pull out the slide projector to host a family vacation slideshow party so could all reminisce.
Pops was also a big fan of National Geographic Magazine and the iconic black and white photographer Ansel Adams.
Thanks to Pops I’ve been snapping photos throughout my life whether at summer camp in southwest Ohio as a 10 year old in 1978, in the Yucatan at 36 in 2004, or exploring Baja at 54 in 2022.
I love photography. Love it.
Photography is an extension of me, how I see the world around me.
In fall of 2022 I started Chris Earley Photo Art.
