The Salida Creative District and Box of Bubbles present “Artcar Happenings” July 18 & 19
The Salida Creative District and Box of Bubbles present “Artcar Happenings,” An ArtCar and ArtBike Presentation Friday, July 18, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. and an ArtCar and ArtBike Workshop Saturday, July 19 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m at Box of Bubbles, 135 E. 2nd Street. Rodney Wood, aka “Mr.Art Carfun,” who brought the fabulous “Earth, Wind and Fire” ArtCar to Salida during the Colorado Creative Industries (CCI) Summit, will return to Salida for a ‘show and tell’ presentation and potluck Friday, followed by the workshop Saturday.
One of the features of the workshop on Saturday will be the opportunity to help Ken Brandon, Box of Bubbles owner, with designing a ‘Box of Bubbles ArtCar Van.’ Don’t miss this opportunity to be creative and contribute to a great project.
The event is open to the public and it is being stressed that you DO NOT need to be an artist to attend either (or both!) free events. Please note that ArtBikes are encouraged as part of this event as well.
