Sibyl Teague has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan, and has recently received a MA in art/printmaking from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. She has been printmaking for over 12 years, using a wide variety of techniques. Most recently, she has employed the method of lithography as she finds lithography to be a perfect match for her drawing style.
This body of work: Storyteller is narrative in nature, centering on mythology and stories of transformation, in order to investigate how these concepts influence contemporary art and life. Using the printmaking process of color lithography, the artwork explores the relationships between mythology, time, and abstraction.
