Red Rocks Community College Health Sciences Campus: Arvada, Colorado

Qualifications are requested from artists and/or artist teams interested in creating site-specific public artwork(s) for the new Health Professions & Science Building on Red Rocks Community College’s (RRCC) campus in Arvada, Colorado. This construction project is a renovation project to build a new Health Professions and Science Building on Red Rocks Community College’s Arvada campus. The project is slated to be completed by August 2016.

The Longmont Art in Public Places Commission is currently seeking submissions from Colorado artists who have work available to be installed and on display from June 2016-June 2017. Artwork must be durable and able to withstand all weather conditions. All media will be considered; however, all work submitted for review must adhere to the space criteria as the available pedestals are of set sizes.

Lincoln Corridor Project: Fort Collins, Colorado

The City of Fort Collins, Colorado, Art in Public Places Program (APP) is seeking submissions to select an artist/artist team to design concepts for the Lincoln Corridor Project, which includes Lincoln Avenue from the Poudre Bridge to Lemay Avenue. The Lincoln Corridor is a critical connection to Downtown Fort Collins, the Poudre River Trail, and the eastern side of the community. All media appropriate to the project will be considered.

 2nd Annual West Colfax MuralFest: 

Lakewood, Colorado 

Budget: $1,000 – 7,500

MuralFest 2016 will showcase 5+ murals at Lamar Station Plaza (6501 W Colfax Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80214) and Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (1600 Pierce Street). As part of the West Colfax MuralFest, artists will design, paint, and seal a mural on an assigned surface as described in the Call for Muralists.

18th Annual Art on the Streets: 

Colorado Springs, Colorado 

$1,250 honorarium

Selected artwork for the Art on the Streets exhibit will be installed throughout the 40-square-block downtown district, with the majority of works clustered in the busiest 10 to 15 block core. Artists are chosen for inclusion through a jury process in which artistic quality serves as the primary criteria. Art on the Streets is managed as a program of Downtown Colorado Springs, through Downtown Ventures.
