Gentlemen of the Road Stopover Salida, CO

Salida, CO.  The 2015 Gentlemen of the Road Stopover Salida, CO is seeking live music acts and other entertainers to perform either at the festival or in the downtown vicinity during the August Festival. The organizers are interested in live music, buskers and wandering minstrel style dancers and other entertainment.

A Gentlemen of the Road Stopover is a music festival that celebrates local people, food and culture where everyone pitches in and everyone gets something back.

It is the goal of the festival to include local artists either at the festival grounds or downtown events that have been specially curated by the festival organizers.  If you’re a local musician or entertainer and want to be considered for this special event including downtown festivities beginning Wednesday, August 19th through Sat., Aug. 22nd, please e-mail beatrice.price@cityofsalida.com with the title ‘Entertainment’ and provide the following information: Contact Name, Name of Band (if applicable), Contact Phone Number, Contact e-mail, Web-site (if applicable), sample of your music (audio or video link). Include a sample that exemplifies your artistic talent and material of what you would present. Performers of all ages, genres and entertainment styles should submit.

We will be accepting submissions through the end of March. Madison House will review all submissions and acts and will respond in a timely manner.
